        What Tracks Stored On Your Computer

• Autocomplete Memory  Internet Explorer  can store a record of almost everything that you typed into any web site form. Form data can be things such as all the keywords you have ever typed into a search engine and personal information such as your name and address.
  
• Index.dat :    index.dat contains sites visited and index of cookies which  can not be erased manually. Even if you clean up your cache, cookies, and history from within the Internet Explorer browser , the index.dat files can not be erased and will continue to store information about what web sites you have visited and what cookies have been saved.
  
• Recent Documents  lists the last 15 document files that you have accessed, allowing any of these documents to be reopened simply by clicking on the name of the document.
  
  
• Windows Search History  Windows saves these files so that when you want to do searches,  you don't need to re-enter  the information. This lets others know what you have been searching.
  
  
• Start Menu Run History  Windows stores these programs in the start menu run text box. so that you don't have to re-enter the information, but it allows others to know what you searched.
  
  
• Windows Temp  Windows saves temp files to this folder, it will take a large amount of disk space if you don't clean it regularly, and it also tracks what you have done on your PC.
  
  
• RealPlayer Playlist Realplayer records the recent played Internet location, video and sound files in the registry.

• Office Recent Documents :  Other than Recent Documents above, the Office Recent Documents file stores recently-accessed office files - Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, etc. - in the system registry. They are not deleted when you delete Recent Documents.
  
• MediaPlayer Playlist  Mediaplayer records the recent played Internet location, video and sound files in the  registry.
